By accessing or using Marnita, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access Marnita for personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not include:

• Modifying or copying the materials
• Using the materials for commercial purposes
• Attempting to reverse engineer any software
• Removing copyright or proprietary notations
• Transferring the materials to another person

User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

User Content

By posting content on Marnita (including reviews, photos, forum posts, messages, and business submissions), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content. You represent that:

• You own or have the right to post the content
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.)
• Your content complies with our Community Guidelines
• You are responsible for your content and its consequences
• Your content may be moderated, edited, or removed if it violates our policies
• Public content (reviews, photos, forum posts) may appear in search results, RSS feeds, and embed widgets

Note on Direct Messages: While direct messages are encrypted end-to-end, you grant us permission to store and transmit them as necessary to provide the messaging service.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users (including through direct messages)
• Spam or manipulate ratings, reviews, or forum discussions
• Scrape or collect data without permission (including through automated means or API abuse)
• Interfere with the platform's operation, security, or performance
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or harmful content
• Post copyrighted material without authorization
• Use the platform to send unsolicited promotional messages
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access unauthorized areas

Business Listings and Claims

Business owners may claim and manage their listings. By claiming a listing, you represent that:

• You are authorized to act on behalf of the business
• You will keep business information, hours, menu, and photos accurate and up-to-date
• You will respond to reviews and customer inquiries appropriately
• You understand that business listings are publicly accessible and may appear in search results, RSS feeds, and embed widgets
• You will not use your business account to spam, manipulate ratings, or violate our Community Guidelines

Business submissions are subject to moderation and approval. We reserve the right to reject or remove listings that violate our policies or contain inaccurate information.

API Access

If you use our API, you agree to:

• Use the API in accordance with our API documentation and rate limits
• Not abuse, overload, or attempt to harm our systems
• Respect the intellectual property rights of content accessed through the API
• Not use the API to scrape or collect data in violation of our Terms of Service
• Keep your API credentials secure and not share them with unauthorized parties

Intellectual Property

All content on Marnita, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Marnita or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Disclaimer

Marnita is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

Marnita shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Marnita harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
